I spent a few days last week in the French resort of Tignes, host of the European Winter X Games.  While enjoying the Games I caught up with Sammy Carlson about his win in the first X Games "Real Ski Backcountry" video competition in an interview for Freeskier. I also wrote an article for Newschoolers.com covering all of the action at Euro X.  

Because of his inimitable style and down-to-earth personality, Nicky Keefer is one of my favorite skiers. Here's an interview I did with him for Powder Magazine's website. Much of his philosophical rambling was cut out to satisfy the short attention spans of the web reader, but maybe you'll still understand why I subtitled it "Down the rabbit hole." As fun as it was to do this interview with Nicky and listen to his thoughts, the best part was using terrain park skiing and rap music to ruffle the feathers of a few grouchy old Powder readers.  

Recently ESPN's freeskiing blog published a profile on my friend Jeff Curry, who's a full-time freeskiing coach for Windell's Academy while moonlighting as an accomplished film skier whose style is on par with the best in the game.
