The 2013 Nine Knights presented a one-of-a-kind, never-before-conceived feature to the snow world. Twin 75-foot kickets, a 30-foot quarterpipe, dual halfpipes dropping off the sides of the feature... this was something you have to see to believe. It was my good fortune to be a part of the crew to build and maintain this incredible feature. I spent a few days last week in the French resort of Tignes, host of the European Winter X Games.  While enjoying the Games I caught up with Sammy Carlson about his win in the first X Games "Real Ski Backcountry" video competition in an interview for Freeskier. I also wrote an article for Newschoolers.com covering all of the action at Euro X.
